Hospital sites can use pay-on-entry, pay-on-exit, validation or ANPR registration. Check the hospital’s current instructions before travelling whenever possible.

Keep parking from becoming another appointment worry

Check the hospital website

Look for the exact site, entrance, car park, payment method and current concession information. Do not assume two hospitals use the same process.

Record your arrival

Note where you parked and any instructions you need before leaving. ANPR may record entry automatically, but payment or validation can still require a separate action.

Before departure

Confirm whether you must enter a registration, validate a visit, pay at a machine or pay at the exit. Keep the confirmation you receive.
